💛 We’re asking you to step up to help S.H.E. UK.
From 12 to 21 October, we’re coming together as a community to raise £10,000 in 10 days to help S.H.E. UK continue its vital work supporting adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, sexual violence and rape.
This year, we weren’t successful in securing a place in The Big Give’s match-funded Women and Girls campaign. For a small charity like ours, that leaves a significant gap in our fundraising income.
So instead of stepping back, we’re stepping forward by launching our 10 in 10 campaign.
Over the next 10 days, we’re asking you to help us with our 10 in 10 campaign
Throughout the campaign, we’ll be sharing regular updates so you can see exactly how we’re progressing towards our £10,000 target.
There are lots of ways to get involved over the next 10 days.
🍻 Pub Quiz
We’ll be putting our trivia champions’ general knowledge to the test with a fundraising Pub Quiz.
📍 Location: Barrel Micropub, Mansfield

We’re looking forward to an evening of fun, competition and fundraising.
Again, we’re looking for local businesses who might be interested in match funding the money raised through the quiz.
🧁 Bake Sale
Later in the campaign, we’ll be holding a S.H.E. UK Bake Sale in the local community.

📆 Date: 20 October
⏰ Time: between 10am and 3pm
If you’ve joined us for one of our Bake Sales before, you’ll know that it’s one of the tastiest ways to support S.H.E. UK!
Come along, grab something delicious and help us move that fundraising thermometer a little further towards £10,000.
We’re also hoping to secure match funding from a local business for the money raised through the Bake Sale, so if your business would like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you.

We’ll also have a Local Giving fundraising page, allowing you to make a donation online and see our progress towards the £10,000 target.

Why we’re stepping up this October
The work we do at S.H.E. UK transforms lives.
We provide therapeutic support and safe spaces for adult survivors, helping people move forward from the impact of childhood sexual abuse, sexual violence and rape.
Our work also reaches beyond the people we support directly. The therapists and professionals we train go on to positively influence the lives of many more people.
Our weekly SHE-roes Lounge provides a supportive community and a lifeline for survivors who might otherwise feel isolated.
And through our one-to-one therapeutic support, we help survivors move forward, rebuild their confidence and work towards living fulfilling lives.
We work from the heart, showing up for our service users every day.
We need your help to keep doing that.
