S.H.E. UK attends this event every year – last year, Lisa Lenton (L) and Tina Sharpe (R) were the staff in attendance.
We’re delighted to be returning to the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute’s Placement Provider Day on 24 March. This is an event we always look forward to as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the next generation of therapists.
As a placement provider, this day is a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with counselling students who are working towards their qualifications. It’s a chance to share more about who we are at S.H.E. UK, the vital work we do within our community, and how trainees can become part of that journey.
Providing placements is an important part of what we offer. By welcoming trainee therapists, we not only support their professional development and help them gain essential practice hours, but we also expand our ability to reach and support more survivors who need our services. It’s a meaningful partnership that benefits everyone involved.
Events like this are always inspiring. Meeting passionate, dedicated students who are preparing to enter the field reminds us why this work matters so much. Their enthusiasm and commitment to making a difference give us real hope for the future of mental health support.
If you’re attending the event, we encourage you to come and have a chat with us. Whether you’re actively looking for a placement or simply want to learn more about the work we do, we’d love to connect.
Together, we can continue to support trainees, strengthen our services, and make a lasting difference in our community.
